As COVID-19 returned to Vietnam unexpectedly, thousands of people are losing jobs, and millions of people are being affected by the impact. As an IT leader in Vietnam, Orient Software understands the need to give back to the community, especially through tough times.
Along with Mr. Phan Xuan Thanh, the owner of The Field Restaurant in Hoi An, OSD contributed a total of 20 barrels of saline, 100 sets of antibacterial, 10 barrels of milk and 200 bottles of western detergent in Duy Chau, Duy Xuyen; 450 antibacterial sets and 600 masks for Hoi An City.

“The people of Quang Nam province are fighting against COVID. They were caught off-guard, not prepared for the sudden appearance of the pandemic. Therefore, they need urgent help, to reduce the impact as soon as possible. This can further help the nation’s effort in fighting the pandemic and reducing its impact on our society. Moreover, people in these areas generally cannot afford these prevention tools, with limited access to the media and it is hard for them to get help from outsiders as the area is not a tourism location and people do not know much information about their needs. It is therefore essential to bring medical equipment to the hands of the people,”
OSD has also contributed 25,600,000 VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Da Nang and 600 cloth masks to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. This is the result of the campaign “OSD Together We Share” at OSD Danang.

“We will not stop!
If there are still people needing help, we will try to be there for them. We have won before, and we will win again. We believe that Vietnam is a strong country and therefore this pandemic is just one of the obstacles we must go through to become stronger as a nation. And we are doing a great job.”
