People & Culture Specialist
Reporting to People & Culture Manager, this role owns employee engagement and company culture end-to-end — designing, driving, and measuring initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle, and championing the internal communications, recognition, and CSR efforts that build genuine connection and a sense of belonging across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact from People & Culture for employees regarding engagement, culture, and general HR-related matters.
- Provide guidance and timely support to employees, escalating issues when necessary to ensure appropriate resolution.
- Gather employee feedback proactively and recommend solutions to enhance employee experience and workplace satisfaction.
- Build trust-based relationships with employees to foster an open and supportive work environment.
- Identify, design, and lead employee engagement programs, bonding activities, and internal culture initiatives aligned with the company’s overall strategy, to foster a strong, cohesive culture and enhance the employee experience.
- Strengthen employee connection and engagement throughout the entire employee lifecycle, starting from onboarding at Orient.
- Oversee the offboarding process, including exit interviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer coordination.
- Manage and support internal communication channels related to culture and employee engagement.
- Identify, design, and execute community events and external campaigns to represent the company positively in the community and with relevant partners.
- Plan and support company-wide CSR initiatives in alignment with corporate values and brand positioning.
- Contribute to HR reporting, data analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives related to engagement and culture.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Employee Engagement, Internal Communications, HR, or similar roles.
- Proven track record of designing and running end-to-end employee engagement programs, with measurable impact on engagement, wellbeing, or retention.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Passion for fostering employee engagement, wellbeing, and a positive workplace culture.
- Creativity in designing and implementing engagement programs, events, and culture initiatives.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with experience delivering training sessions or workshops.
- Knowledge or experience in mindfulness and wellness practices is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Willingness to participate in sports and team-building activities is an advantage.
