Senior Dynamics AX Developer

We are looking for a Senior AX Developer to join our engineering team and play a key role in enhancing and supporting our Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 ecosystem. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys deep technical challenges, and wants to make a direct impact on business operations across sales, pricing, customer management, and invoicing.

You’ll collaborate with global stakeholders, business teams, and technical experts to design robust solutions, improve system performance, and drive integration initiatives with modern platforms and services.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced customizations in Dynamics AX 2012 using X++, including classes, forms, tables, batch jobs, and AIF services.
• Build and support integrations between AX and external systems such as e-commerce platforms, pricing engines, marketing automation systems, payment providers, and other business applications.
• Manage, troubleshoot, and optimize critical business workflows related to sales orders, customers, pricing, invoicing, and integration processes.
• Investigate and resolve production issues across AX, SQL Server, and integration layers while ensuring system stability and performance.
• Improve SQL query performance, optimize data access, and support technical documentation including solution designs, integration flows, and data contracts.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-driven ERP solutions.

Who We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 with strong expertise in X++, AX architecture, and AX data models.
• Solid understanding of sales orders, customers, pricing, invoicing, and related ERP business processes.
• Proven experience with AX integrations including AIF, web services, APIs, messaging systems, and file-based integrations.
• Strong SQL Server skills covering query writing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical thinking, debugging capability, and communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with e-commerce ecosystems, pricing/CPQ platforms, or marketing automation systems.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, and integration frameworks.
• Experience with source control systems and CI/CD practices for AX deployments.
