Senior Automation Quality Engineer - Based in Da Nang

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and test strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our products.

This position is an individual contributor role. We are seeking a hands-on senior engineer who enjoys coding, testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and actively contributing to product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Create and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and QA team members to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD testing pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop and manage test environments, test data, and mock services using Mock Server and related tools.
• Execute API testing and validate system integrations across multiple services.
• Work with cloud-based environments and services on AWS to support testing and deployment activities.
• Investigate, reproduce, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share testing best practices across the team.

Who We're Looking For

• 5–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong focus on Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for automation testing.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience working with Mock Server or similar service virtualization tools.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with AWS services.
• Proven experience in API testing and end-to-end testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot quality-related issues effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Terraform, particularly for provisioning and managing AWS EC2 and ECS resources.
• Experience testing microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of performance, security, or load testing practices.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and cloud-native applications.
