IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support users in queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and networking.
  • Set up the necessary computers & IT devices and ensure they always function well as expected.
  • Resolve issues including troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Support team members in tasks related to IT department and its management.
  • Maintain computer systems and act as support if any system goes down.
  • Responsible for PC’s, Printers, Servers, and related equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc.).
  • Maintain user PCs, including upgrades and configuration as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding of new users.
  • Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade PC software.
  • Report to your direct manager as required.

Requirements

  • College or University degree in IT related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in IT Helpdesk/Support.
  • Good knowledge of Local-Area-Networking, Wide-Area-Networking, Virtual Private Network, Firewall, Anti-Virus solution.
  • Familiar with hardware troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining server, PC, networking equipment, other IT related equipment’s (telecom, mobile...).
  • Ability to learn new technologies/knowledge.
  • Teamwork oriented and willing to work under pressure.
  • Strictly follow IT processes.
  • Ability to work with basic shell scripts/programming languages to improve the efficiency of the IT processes/systems.
  • Have Certificates: MCSA, Office 365, LPI, CCNA is highly preferred.
  • Be able to communicate in English.
  • Proactive, friendly, and high responsibility.
