IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support users in queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and networking.
- Set up the necessary computers & IT devices and ensure they always function well as expected.
- Resolve issues including troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Support team members in tasks related to IT department and its management.
- Maintain computer systems and act as support if any system goes down.
- Responsible for PC’s, Printers, Servers, and related equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc.).
- Maintain user PCs, including upgrades and configuration as needed.
- Assist with onboarding of new users.
- Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
- Install, configure, and upgrade PC software.
- Report to your direct manager as required.
Requirements
- College or University degree in IT related field.
- 1-2 years of experience working in IT Helpdesk/Support.
- Good knowledge of Local-Area-Networking, Wide-Area-Networking, Virtual Private Network, Firewall, Anti-Virus solution.
- Familiar with hardware troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining server, PC, networking equipment, other IT related equipment’s (telecom, mobile...).
- Ability to learn new technologies/knowledge.
- Teamwork oriented and willing to work under pressure.
- Strictly follow IT processes.
- Ability to work with basic shell scripts/programming languages to improve the efficiency of the IT processes/systems.
- Have Certificates: MCSA, Office 365, LPI, CCNA is highly preferred.
- Be able to communicate in English.
- Proactive, friendly, and high responsibility.
