Position Overview

The Senior Developer will be a key technical contributor to Safe Financial's AI and Fullstack development initiatives, with particular emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agent architecture, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementation. This offshore role requires exceptional technical expertise, outstanding English communication skills, and collaborative excellence while working with our Australian based Technical Lead and development team

Responsibilities

AI & LLM Development

  • Lead implementation of cutting-edge Large Language Model integrations including GPT-4, Claude, and emerging LLM technologies

  • Build and maintain sophisticated AI Agent components using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and LangChain frameworks

  • Develop specialized AI agents for financial data analysis, risk assessment, fraud detection, and automated compliance reporting

  • Create intelligent context-aware systems using advanced natural language processing and machine learning

  • Design and optimize machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex financial business problems

  • Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems for financial document processing and analysis

  • Stay current with emerging LLM technologies, prompt engineering techniques, and AI methodologies

  • Apply responsible AI practices and ethical considerations specific to financial services

Advanced Technical Implementation

  • Architect and implement complex software solutions utilizing AI, Azure, SQL Server, Angular, and MAUI technologies

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable code that aligns with business objectives

  • Lead and enforce coding standards, best practices, and technical guidelines across the development team

  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team capabilities

  • Proactively identify and resolve complex technical issues throughout the development lifecycle

  • Design and implement comprehensive, automated testing strategies

Fullstack Development Excellence

  • Develop robust backend solutions using .NET 8, C#, and Azure cloud services

  • Build responsive, high-performance frontend applications using Angular and modern TypeScript

  • Implement cross-platform mobile applications using MAUI for iOS and Android

  • Design efficient data models and integrate with SQL Server databases using advanced Entity Framework techniques

  • Implement secure API integrations with third-party financial services and regulatory systems

  • Communication & Team Leadership

  • Maintain exceptional communication with Australian-based teams across time zones

  • Provide clear, detailed progress updates in written and verbal formats during daily standups and sprint reviews

  • Document technical decisions and architectural choices comprehensively for knowledge sharing

  • Mentor mid-level developers to enhance their technical skills and AI implementation capabilities

  • Participate actively in sprint planning, technical grooming, and retrospective sessions

  • Collaborate effectively with in-house teams, business analysts, and stakeholders

Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • 5+ years of fullstack development experience with .NET and Angular

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and SQL Server

  • 2+ years of proven experience with AI/ML technologies and LLM implementation

  • Demonstrated experience with GPT-4, Claude, or similar large language models in production environments

  • Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent

  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and LLM optimization techniques

  • Experience with MAUI or similar cross-platform mobile development frameworks

  • Advanced understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns

  • Expert-level experience with both Entity Framework 6 and Entity Framework Core

  • Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure ML

  • Strong knowledge of Event Sourcing, Event Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

  • Excellent written and spoken English - must be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly

  • Proven experience working effectively with remote, distributed teams across different time zones
