Senior Python Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python.
  • Optimize systems for high throughput and/or low latency, employing best practices for distributed and event-driven architectures.
  • Utilize modern cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and apply DevOps principles such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated monitoring.
  • Work with relational databases, NoSQL platforms, and explore advanced storage solutions (vector databases, feature stores) to meet complex data processing needs.
  • Collaborate with machine learning teams to ensure seamless model deployment and management, applying foundational ML knowledge to data pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain robust automated testing suites to uphold high code quality and reliability in production.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, exploring new technologies and tools that improve efficiency and performance.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software development experience with strong Python expertise.
  • Background or strong interest in ML workflows, data pipelines, or MLOps tooling is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with serverless frameworks, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proven ability to design scalable, reliable, and secure microservices and cloud-native applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
