Senior Ruby on Rail Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
  • Debug production issues and optimize application performance
  • Collaborate with team members on technical implementations
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Assist in API development and integration
  • Document technical specifications and processes
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups

Requirement

  • 5+ years of experience in fullstack Rails (i.e. Rails 7+, with a specific focus on Hotwire).
  • Must have at least demonstrable experience building production-grade apps with Ruby on Rails, with ideally at least one year spent working on Rails 7 apps specifically
  • Have experience with, or a willingness to learn, the key technologies that underpin our apps:
    • Frontend framework: Stimulus.js
    • UI: Tailwind CSS
    • Database: PostgreSQL.
    • Curiosity to work with leading AI systems.
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline.
  • Write testing and review code.
